About the department

The Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies is one of the scientific departments at Nalut College of Education, established in the year 1997-1998.

It works to achieve the university's scientific and educational purposes through a vision, mission, and objectives represented as follows

The Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies aspires to be a leader in the fields of education, scientific research, and community service, capable of graduating qualified personnel in teaching Arabic language and Islamic studies.

 Contributing to meeting the needs of the local community by providing it with distinguished scientific personnel capable of fulfilling the educational and instructional mission.

  • Preparing qualified national cadres capable of performing their professional mission.
  • Developing the means to achieve and ensure the quality of performance and outcomes.
  • Developing social skills in student teachers to communicate with the local community.

The Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies aims to instill authentic Islamic values and develop skills in the Arabic language in reading, writing, and research, to serve as a means for thought, creativity, and cultural communication.

curriculum

The semester system according to the decision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (465) of the year 2022 regarding the approval of the regulatory framework for the Colleges of Education at public Libyan universities, where the semester system has been initiated for the academic year 2022/2023.
