About the Department

The Department of Physics at the Faculty of Education in Nalut was established in the academic year 1996-1997.

The Department of Physics aspires to be a leader in the fields of education, scientific research, and community service, capable of graduating qualified personnel who meet the needs of the local community.

Contributing to meeting the needs of the community by providing it with distinguished scientific personnel capable of fulfilling the educational and instructional mission.

  • Equipping the student teacher with the essential and cognitive skills and concepts in the field of physics and its applications.
  • Training the student teacher to use modern technology to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Developing scientific thinking skills in student teachers.
  • Development of social skills in student teachers for communication with the local community.
  • The student's mastery of various teaching skills.
  • Preparing qualified national cadres capable of performing their professional mission.

We are committed in the Department of Physics to diligent work in providing an academic education that combines deep theoretical knowledge with practical application.

    We believe that physics is the cornerstone of   many fundamental sciences and modern technologies. curriculum

The semester system according to the decision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (465) for the year 2022 regarding the approval of the regulatory framework for the Colleges of Education at public Libyan universities, where the semester system has been initiated for the academic year 2022/2023.
