Student Activities Department
It is specifically concerned with the following.
- Proposing plans related to cultural and sports student activities at the college.
- Proposal to prepare schedules for implementing the approved plan, taking into account the academic schedules, exams, and holidays, and presenting them.
- Distribution of the design of the forms prepared with the aim of identifying talents in various literary, cultural, and artistic fields and nurturing and encouraging them.
- Participation in organizing cultural, literary, and artistic festivals.
- Participation in organizing art exhibitions for talented individuals in various artistic fields for students and faculty members.
- Formation of theatrical, singing, and musical groups, as well as heritage and traditional bands, and organizing public performances for these groups in the college.
- Participation in university days and camps with artistic performances and cultural, intellectual, and sports competitions.
- Participation in organizing intellectual, literary, and cultural competitions in the fields of novels, short stories, poetry, essays, and scientific research, etc., and distributing appreciation awards to the winners.
- Contributing to the revival of religious and national occasions by organizing literary, cultural, artistic, and sports activities at the college.
- Participation in organizing festivals and sports competitions.
- Proposal for printing, publishing, and distributing outstanding works from competitions, festivals, and artistic performances.
- Participation in organizing festivals and sports competitions
- Forming teams in various sports and assigning coaches to organize them, refine the skills of their members, and provide them with the necessary sportswear and equipment at the college.
- Organizing various sports leagues and distributing awards to the winners.
- Preparation of periodic reports on the department's activities.
