In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I am pleased to welcome you to the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education, a department that has been striving since its establishment to prepare a generation of distinguished teachers and researchers, both scientifically and educationally, who are capable of keeping up with the modern developments in the fields of life sciences and serving the community.
The department is keen on providing a stimulating educational and research environment that relies on modern teaching methods, the application of scientific technologies, and the encouragement of rigorous scientific research, contributing to the development of students' skills and preparing them for effective engagement in the job market.
The department also emphasizes community service by providing consultations and scientific and educational activities, directing scientific research for faculty and graduation projects for students in the department to study educational issues and health phenomena prevalent in the local community, thereby enhancing the department's role in sustainable development.

The semester system according to the decision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (465) of the year 2022 regarding the approval of the regulatory framework for the Colleges of Education at public Libyan universities, where the semester system for the academic year 2022/2023 has been initiated.
