In an effort by the Faculty of Education in Nalut to enhance its scientific standing and serve the community within the framework of community service, the Department of Education and Psychology organized an awareness lecture based on the idea that change begins with the individual. This took place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, where a team of female students, under the direct supervision of Professor Smeha Srar Milad, the head of the department, prepared, organized, and delivered an awareness lecture for the eighth-grade students at Al-Awwal School.
It was titled "Inappropriate Behaviors in the School Environment." The students from the Department of Education and Psychology, namely: Asmaa Ali Zakari, Suha Nuri Hamoudah, Manal Mohammed Al-Sheikh, and Wessal Ali Zayed, delivered the lecture, which was well-received by everyone and engaged the audience through a direct dialogue with the school students.
Through the notable follow-up and presence of the school principal and the specialists, who expressed their admiration for the comprehensive and distinguished explanation provided, as well as the discussion of the causes and ways to overcome these behaviors (such as bullying, social anxiety, and disrespecting teachers, and highlighting the role of confidence in enhancing and strengthening the student's self-esteem to face difficulties). Finally, the lecture addressed the negative effects such as cheating and truancy, which have severe consequences for the individual and society.
