The Faculty of Education in Nalut celebrates three decades of service and graduates its twenty-seventh class.

The "Mujahid Khalifa bin Askar" hall in Nalut witnessed a joyful celebration on the morning of Tuesday, July 29, 2025, marking the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Education in Nalut and the graduation of its twenty-seventh class under the slogan "30 Years of Continuous Giving." This occasion embodied a journey filled with achievements and educational contributions that have contributed to the renaissance of Libyan society in general, and the city of Nalut in particular.

The Higher Institute for Teacher Preparation in Nalut, now known as the Faculty of Education, was established in the academic year 1995/1996 thanks to the blessed efforts of leading figures, namely: Professor Yusuf Ali Al-Muqadimi (the Secretary of Education in Nalut at the time), Professor Ali Khalifa Al-Bashbash (the Secretary of the People's Committee in Nalut during that period - may he rest in peace), and Professor Ramadan Yusuf Askar, who coordinated and collaborated with the General People's Committee for Higher Education previously. The institute was established by decision No. (69) of the year 1996, and it continued in this status until January 1, 2005, when the system of affiliation changed, making all higher institutes for teacher preparation in the region affiliated with the University of the Western Mountain, under the name "Nalut Teachers College." In 2006, the college's name was changed to "Faculty of Education," which we know today, and the college follows a four-year academic system. Studies at the institute began in the academic year 1995/1996 under the administration of Professor Ramadan Yusuf Askar (1995-2000), while Professor Musa Khalifa Al-Nami held the position of Registrar. A distinguished group of academics has succeeded in managing the college, including:

Dr. Nagy Mohammed Bazina (2000-2004)

Mr. Yahya Masoud Jarnaz (2004-2011)

Dr. Jamal Ali Mataawe (2011-27 July 2024)

Mr. Riad Suleiman Jurnaz (starting from July 28, 2024, to date)
